About 

The walking group enjoy forays into the beautiful Surrey Hills, typically in one of the locations listed below. 

Well behaved dogs are welcome! There is usually a walk every Wednesday morning and a Monthly walk, details of both are posted on the Monthly Diary page.

 

 

Upcoming Walks

 

WEEKLY WEDNESDAY WALK

 

We meet every Wednesday between 9 and 9.30am for a walk which lasts approx 1 hour. Dogs are welcome.

Come and join this very social and friendly group. Look out for the weekly email  ( a couple of days before)

The Wednesday walk is for ladies who walk regularly and are quite fit.

Norbury Park

Norbury Park is a working landscape, with farms and a commercial sawmill (Norbury Park Wood Products). The park lies within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and consists of 520 hectares (1,300 acres). It is situated west of the River Mole and the A24 between Westhumble and the borders of Fetcham and Great Bookham.

Sheapleas

Sheapleas

Sheepleas lies on the chalk slopes of the North Downs within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and covers an area approximately 110 hectares (270 acres). The mosaic of woodland (both ancient and recent), grassland, and scrub habitats supports a diverse range of wildlife, and as a result the reserve was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in 1975 and a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) in 2005.

Box Hill is the perfect place to discover a family walk and explore the beautiful Surrey Hills. Forming part of the North Downs, Box Hill has breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. It's home to some fantastic wildlife and plants too, including the Adonis blue butterfly and bee orchid.

An area of grassland and mixed woodland - it is one of the best spots in Surrey to see bluebells.
